I’m not the French Poodle type I’m a MUTT from Brooklyn!

bklynbridgebkgdToday, I had a meeting with a great guy from Brooklyn (Tim Cochrane). Tim told me that he went on an appointment to get a management job from some Manhattan landlord. The landlord told him that it was the worst presentation he had ever seen. My Brooklyn friend replied, ” Well, if you’re looking for the guy who walks his french poodle on Park Avenue, I’m not the one…but if you’re looking for the Brooklyn mutt who is going to protect your property and bark when someone is around, then you call me. The landlord said to Tim, “You have guts,” and immediately gave him the management job. The “Mutt” did a great job and has received numerous recommendations and repeat business.  “It’s great to be from Brooklyn…it gives you the edge,” Tim says. This is a true story that I heard today, and yes friends…ONLY IN BROOKLYN!
Hey you’s guys…ya gotta be who you are out there!  No phoney baloney here.

    John,

I have been following your blog for a while and I am really impressed with the down to earth stories of the real life stories from Brooklyn. I totally understand and agree with your mission here and after speaking with many of my friends at Fillmore – I see that this new energy from this blog is becoming very contagious! I look forward to hearing and learning more!

    Kevin,
Thanks for taking to time to write about thereinhardtblog and the mission as you see it. I am hoping that the straight forward method will prove to be an interesting and unique way to get the message out there and the much needed discussion flowing.
    Thanks.
