Let me share with you the interesting event that took place recently that has catapulted me into the social media spotlight. Actually, it was a series of events that got my name on the top of a alot of conversations in the social media world.
First, it was the fact that Al Pacino was at my office filming his new movie “You Don’t Know Jack.” The filming led me to the opportunity to be in the movie for two days and the lines buzzed with comments. The NYPost picked it up from a facebook post and then the Daily News did a story as well. The next day, I was on NY1 for an interview with Real Estate buyers and more and more people were joining on and following me.
The next week I headed up to Saratoga for some state meetings and met even more people who were asking about the previous events. I told them to read all about it online….and they did.
After Saratoga, I was scheduled to speak about social media for the RIS Media Top 5 in Real Estate national conference in NYC. While researching for the presentation, I read the book by Tara Hunt titled, “The Whuffie Factor.” By employing the tools learned in this book, I started seeing the great possibilities that exist online in the social media arena. I contacted the author, Tara Hunt and she has been helpful in my growth and now she is going to interview me for her presentation to the National Association of Realtors conference in San Diego. This whirlwind has kept going and is catching steam.
I don’t know where it’s taking me, but I must admit that the fire is now lit and I am moving forward and I can finally say that I Get It.
This blog is a direct result of my new efforts online. I hope that I can give back to all those that I have learned from.

If I know you as good as I think I do, i know that this project (The Blog) will have your whole heart & soul in it, and that will make it a good thing… it’s interesting that no other broker/owners have really done this before, and I anxiously await the positive feedback and great results! It is amazing how things happen… one thing effects another, and we are constantly learning new ways to do business and even live life. Who’s to say what’s next, but it is all very exciting.
