I know the Yankees are in the playoffs (AGAIN)..and that’s a good thing..even for me (a Met Fan ;-()

Let’s take a moment though to recognize and congratulate the NY JETS.  They are having an amazing year with 5WINS and only 1 Loss.

Give the ones that don’t get the attention all the time.. the special attention that they deserve.
There are a bunch of agents that have been around for a while that are really shining now. Let’s take a moment and give them their due.  IT IS SOOOO EXCITING to see so many agents that were not doing so well, to turn it on in these times and make it happen!!!!

I took a look at the agents in my company today, and of course I noticed the great ones that always get the recognition, but I am getting more excited about those agents that are really coming of their own lately.  I can see that the playing field has changed in real estate over the past few years, and the ones that are rising to the top now are truly something to remark about.

I get most excited about one of our agents (ND) that did nothing in production for her first three years.  She stuck with it and became the top agent for the company last month with 8 sales totaling over one million dollars in commissions.  Armond Hammer had a saying on his desk, that I had reproduced and placed on my dad’s desk back in the late 80′s, and it said, “Tough Times Don’t Last…Tough People Do!”  The tough people are out and in force in the real estate industry, and I like it.

MK from my Canarsie office is only a year in the business and is going to be over 5 million in production.  It’s the newer people that don’t know that it’s a bad market that are out there every day plugging away and doing what we all should be doing.  The victory is theirs to take.    It really is a great time to be in real estate…that is, if you’re doing it right.  MK is doing it right.  Agents that are taking the time to learn the skills and then use them are doing very well in this market.

It’s great to see the Yankees in it again, but it’s even better to see the JETS causing such a stir.
